Loving father of Lloyd (wife Valerie) of Sidney, Nova Scotia, Robert “Bob“ (wife Sylvie) of Gatineau, QC., Lise Chartrand and Suzanne Lambert (husband David) both of St. Albert, ON. Cherished grandfather of Katie, Jonathan, Mary-Alison, Annie-Claude, Stéphane, Sébastien, Christian and Tabitha. Dear brother of Marthe Ouellette (husband Roger) of Hanmer, Madeleine Jeanveau (predeceased), Paul Chartrand (wife Marge) of Sudbury, Alphonse (wife Mary-Ellen) of Sudbury, Thérèse Brouse (Skead), Yolande Kozela (husband Joseph) of St. Catharines, Yvette Séguin (husband Denis) of Whitby, Rachelle Chevrier (husband Marcel) of Elliot Lake, Carmen Lehto (husband Larry) of Hanmer, Pauline Landry of Chelmsford and Marie Basso (husband Ken) of Timmins. John was born in Sudbury on January 20th, 1926. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #76, he was a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Prior to retiring John had worked as a salesman for Hostess Potato Chips for over 20 years. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on Saturday, March 10th, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Interment at the Civic Cemetery. A memorial service will be held under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76, 3 p.m. Saturday. Donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
