->Sullivan, Jean C.Jean C. Sullivan passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011, at the age of 86. Jean was born in New York City. After completing school, she worked at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, but then interrupted her career to raise her six children. She moved to Pearl River in 1955, and was a member of St. Margaret's Church. When she returned to the working world, she was employed at Lehn & Fink in Montvale, New Jersey, from which she retired in 1993. Jean had a wide range of interests, including golf, bridge, book clubs, and the theater. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Sullivan, and is survived by her six children, Brian, John, Tom, Kathleen, Julie, and David, as well as five grandchildren, Patrick, Christina, Blair, Maria, and John. Visitation will be on Friday, September 23, from 2 PM until 4 PM, and from 7 PM until 9 PM, at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home, 24 N. Summit St., Pearl River, NY (845) 735-4849. Funeral mass will be at 10 AM on Saturday, September 24, at St. Margaret's Church in Pearl River, followed by burial at Ascension Cemetery in Monsey.
