Jean A. (Crooks) Bergeron, 67, of Southington, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Jan. 14, 2011, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.She was born April 23, 1943, in New Britain. She was employed by the Roland Dumont Agency for nearly 25 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She will be most remembered for being a giving, dedicated mother and grandmother. She always opened her heart and home to those in need.She is survived by her mother, Doris (Bolles) Crooks, of Kensington; and by her three sons, Mark Bergeron, his wife, Donna and their son, Jared, of Medical Lake, Wash..; Paul Bergeron and Bernadette Thibodeau, of Andover; and Michael Bergeron and wife, Julie and their daughter, Amber Leigh, of Southington; her sister, Donna Deuson, her husband, Thomas, of Henderson, N.Y., and their son, Michael; special life time friend, Sharron Blancato and her children; and long time companion, Sonny Lebeau. She was predeceased by her father, Myles Crooks.The funeral was held Jan. 20, 2011, at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, New Britain, followed by a Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Southington. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
