Jeanette "Jeanie" Helen Brown McCormack, 51, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013.Jeanie was born on September 4, 1962 in Bristol, England. At age 12, Jeanie immigrated to America (Florida) with her family. She graduated from Bay High School in 1980 and was a former student of GCCC. Jeanie battled Stage IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for six years. She is now free from pain and the bonds of this disease. Jeanie is with the Lord!Jeanie is survived by her husband, Mark McCormack; a son, Ashley Brown and family of Fayetteville, AR; her mother, Barbara J. Brown; along with her siblings, Roger, Nigel, Nicholas, Catherine, Parris, and Sasha and their families.Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2013 at Kent-Forest Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Friday. A reception will be held following the service. Jeanie will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens next to her late father, Edwin E. Brown.
