->NORTH BILLERICA, Mass. -- Janyce Elizabeth Churchill Brown, 60, of North Billerica passed away peacefully Feb. 26, 2008, at her home with her family and her best friend, Peggy Ireland Elliot, by her side.Janyce was born in Milo, Maine, on June 7, 1947. She was a registered nurse with a career involving surgical, occupational and psychiatric nursing, most recently at Tewksbury Hospital.Janyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a member of Partners in Health of Maine and made many trips to Nicaragua to train the caregivers in Puerto Cabezas the art of nursing. She loved the natural world and would often ask the universe for strength and peace. She was a strong and unique individual. Her love was limitless and unconditional. Her wishes would be for people to remember the good times and live life full of laughter and hope. Her physical presence may be gone, but she will always live in our lives forever.Mrs. Janyce Brown is survived by her husband, Kevin Brown; daughter Elisha Will, and her husband, Larry, of Rockport, Maine; her son, Jason Chase, and his wife, Darcy, of Bethel, Maine; her stepchildren, Kimberly Bender and her husband, Paul, of Richmond, Va., Kevin M. Brown, of New York, N.Y., and Kathleen M. Brown, of Billerica; her mother, Edythe Churchill, of Farmingdale, Maine; three brothers, Vic Churchill and his wife, Kelly, Larry Churchill and his wife, Laurie, and David Churchill and his wife, Cathy; one sister, Karen Moody and her husband, Darrell; and 11 nieces and one nephew. Janyce also is survived by her four grandchildren, Isabel and Alexander Chase, and Kaelyn and Alexandra Bender; and her beloved dog, Mister Dudley Moore.Janyce was preceded in death by her father, Llewellyn E. Churchill; and her grandparents.A memorial service will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, North Billerica, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.
