CARROLL, JANNIE ELIZABETH (THOMAS),90, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Born in Barren County, KY. She was a member of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, James Scott Carroll; two sons, James Steven and Ronald Glen Carroll; and granddaughter, Melissa Fowler. She is survived by her four children, Wanda Wagner (Rick), Judy Christian (Richard), Jerry Carroll (Teresa) and Linda Hart (Michael); 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest, Douglas and Donald Thomas (Judy); sister, Edna Ashley; and her dearest friend Orene Tucker. Her funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Visitation is from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday. Visitation is also 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at Hatcher & Sadler Funeral Home, Glasgow, KY, with service to follow and burial in Cedar Grove Church Cemetery, Glasgow.
