Janice J. Davis NEW PROSPECT, SC-- Mrs. Janice Jackson Davis, 70, of New Prospect, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010, at the Regional Hospice Home. Mrs. Davis was born in Landrum, SC on March 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Leroy Robert and Margaret Elizabeth (Eaton) Jackson. She leaves behind a loving husband, Cecil Davis; a son and his wife, Rick and Cathy Davis of Boiling Springs, SC; a daughter and her husband, Karen and Joey Suddeth of Chesnee; a brother, Dean Jackson of Inman; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa Davis. Mrs. Davis was a nurse for 40 years and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 12, 2010, at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Ron Gaddy. The visitation will be held after the service at graveside. The family is at the home of Karen and Joey Suddeth, 122 Scenic View Dr., Chesnee, SC 29323.
