ST. CLOUD, Fla., and ORRINGTON - Janet Y. Clark, 94, wife of the late Irving E. Clark, died Sept. 16, 2009, at a health care center in St. Cloud, Fla. She was born May 27, 1915, in Woodstock, New Brunswick, daughter of Clayton C. and May (Burpee) Yerxa. Janet was a graduate of Bangor High School. She was a former member of Columbia Street Baptist Church, a member of Orrington Garden Club, Kissimee Garden Club, St. Cloud Garden Club, American Guild of Flower Arrangers, Maine Judges Council and Florida Judges Council. She was a master flower show judge and had been accredited by the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc. Surviving are one son, Al Crowley and his wife, Muriel, of Dedham; and three granddaughters, Tammy Lynn (Crowley) Williams, Michelle Dawn (Crowley) Collins and Karin Lynn Distant. Services will be private for the family.
