Janet Sue Johnson Janet Sue Johnson, age 64, formerly of Wauconda and Lake In The Hills died peacefully Sunday, May 6, 2007, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 11, 1942 in Gary, IN to George and Frieda Davis Pruiett. ON November 11, 1942 she married Wesley Johnson at the Church of the Nazerene, IN. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marengo. A gifted person of many talents she enjoyed playing the piano, painting, crafts, gardening, quilting, bowling and solving puzzles. Involved in the community affairs she volunteered at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Wauconda and also worked as a Respite Health Caregiver. Her devotion to her family was boundless. Survivors include her husband Wesley; four sons: Daniaol (Carolyn) Johnson of Plano, IL, David (Robin) Johnson of Manteno, IL, Rodney (Solea) Johnson of Montevideo Uruguay, Randy (Rachel) Johnson of Crystal Lake; one daughter Brenda Johnson of Salem Oregon; one brother Wayne (Sandy) Pruiett of Merrillville, IN; one sister Beverly (Frank) Cormicanof Leesburg, FL, 12 grandchildren: Amanda, Josh (Price), Nathan, Rebecca, Caleb, Ryan, Christiann, Terra, Lauren, Carlin, Connor and Cassie and one great-grandchild Hannah Price. Preceded in death by parents. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. and continue from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 11, 2007 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 20503 Telegraph St. (Rte. 176) Marengo, IL with Rev. Jack McConaghie officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 2700 Patriot Blvd., Suite 100, Glenview, IL 60026-8021, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 651 West Washington Blvd. Suite 400, Chicago, IL 60661-2237 or to the wishes of the family.
