Operating Room Nurse AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, February 5, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mrs. Janet P. Jackson, 52, wife of Scott Frohbieter. Ms. Jackson was a native of Camp Gordon, GA. She was a charter member of the first Bachelor of Science Nursing Class at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She held a number of positions in the health care field including Staff Nurse; performing Case Management for major insurance companies, Director of Marketing for a surgical products company and Director of Nursing for an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Ms. Jackson was a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), Case Management Society of America and Rehabilitation Insurance Nursing Group. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Deland, FL. Family members include her brother and sister-in-law: Glen L. and Claire Jackson of Augusta; nephew: Christopher Jackson of Augusta and uncles: John and Joan Cowper of London, England and Barry and Barbara Cowper of Chelmsford, England and step-sons: Todd and Kyle Frohbieter of Dallas, TX. Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents: Edward Lawrence Jackson and Joan Cowper Jackson. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lankford Funeral Homes in Deland. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Community Church in Deland. Pallbearers will be Christopher Jackson, John T.Y. Smith, Walter Wilson, Leon Thompson, John Anderson and Bill Bradford. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Deland, FL. Memorials may be made to First Alliance Church, 2801 Ingleside Dr., Augusta, GA 30909.
