Brown, Janet N. NASSAU Janet N. Brown, 72, of Malden Street, former longtime resident of Firetower Road West, Stephentown, died on Friday, May 13, 2011 at her residence after a long illness. Born in Stephentown, Janet was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Robertson Adams and wife of the late Henry "Sonny" Brown Jr. Janet had resided in Stephentown for 66 years and was a homemaker and devoted mom. Janet went to work for the Averill Park School District Child Care Program before working at the East Greenbush Wal-Mart for a number of years prior to her retirement. Janet was a member of the West Stephentown Baptist Church. Janet was the mother of the late Ronald and Edward Brown and sister of the late Lynn Mossman. Survivors include her children, James (Francine) Brown of Averill Park, Dennis (Margery) Brown of Averill Park, Timothy (Margaret) Brown of Nassau, Beverly (Mark) Bryan of Stephentown, Cheryl (Roger) Quell of Stephentown, Robin (Chuck Salvi) Brust of Stephentown and Tammy (Rich Benesch) Brown of East Nassau; her brother, Frank H. Adams Jr. of Stephentown along with 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral service Tuesday 7p.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the chapel on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. prior to the service. If desired donations in memory of Janet N.
