TOWELL, Janet Jean (Miller) - At Bluewater Health, Norman Site, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, Janet Jean (Miller) Towell, age 68, of Sarnia, beloved daughter of the late Pearl and Gordon Miller of Sombra. Dear mother of Bonita Rae Towell and her husband Shawn Trotter of Hamilton, Robert Wayne Towell and his wife Angela Mele of the Cayman Islands, and Gregory John Towell of Sarnia. Proud and loving grandmother of Marissa and Bryce Towell. Dear sister of Gail Moran and her husband George of Port Lambton, Craig Miller and his wife Shirley of Brigden, and the late Bruce Miller and his wife Joyce of Sombra. Dear aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. After enjoying much of her career in Toronto as Director of Social Work at Toronto Grace Hospital, Janet retired to the Sarnia/Lambton area to be close to her family. An avid gardener and creative spirit, Janet will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. Visitation will be held at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Sombra United Church on Monday April 7th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a lunch at the Sombra Community Centre. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the St. Joseph's Hospice (cheques only please).
