Janet (J.J.) Jackson, of Pond Creek Community passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015; she was born in DeFuniak Springs where she lived her whole life.She was passionate about fishing and hunting and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed as a supervisor with Assurion in Crestview, and a member of the Dorcas Baptist Church.Janet is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Roland Jackson; one son, Anthony Jackson; two brothers, Tommy Hinote, John Hinote; two sisters, April Brown, Morica Robinson; three grandchildren, Dennis Jackson, Aubrey Jackson and Anna Liece; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, starting at 10 a.m., at New Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor David Van Zandt officiating, burial to follow in Crowder Chapel Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 16, from 6:30 until 8 p.m., also at the church.You may leave your condolences at www.brackneyfuneralservice.com.Arrangements provided by Brackney Funeral Service.
