Janet Hislop Stewart, 82, Sarasota, died March 30, 2006. She was born April 13, 1924, in Scotland and came to Sarasota in 1986 from Rochester, N.Y. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and Sahib Ladies Oriental Shrine. Survivors include sons William and Edwin of Meridian, Conn.; a sister, Elizabeth Hislop of Bradenton; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge.
