Janet B. Hall 1933-2014 HOOSICK FALLS, NY Janet B. Hall, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 31, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. She resided on Bussey Lane in Hoosick Falls and was the wife of the late Rufus Hall. Janet was born on January 3, 1933, in Cambridge, New York, daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel Smith Bain. Janet worked for the Robson & Geraghty Insurance Company in Hoosick Falls for many years, until retiring. She enjoyed her many flower gardens, bird watching, was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed her beloved cat, Smokey, Survivors include her daughter, Janette Galusha and her husband, David of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; sons , William Hall and his wife, Lori of Chantilly, Virginia and Robert Hall and his wife, Rosalie of Hoosick Falls. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by a sister, Audrey. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the MAHAR FUNERAL HOMe, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwestern Vermont Cancer Center through the funeral home.
