SMITH, Janet F. Age 86, of Sodus, NY, formerly of Beaver Dams, NY, passed peacefully on August 5, 2008. Her husband, William L. Smith; and son-in-law, Darrell Cook, Sr. predeceased Janet. Janet is survived by her son, Stephen W. Smith (Melonie) of Sodus Point, NY; and daughter, Gail Cook of Big Flats, NY; grandchildren, Stephen M. Smith (Michele), Deborah Smith Perkins and Darrell Cook Jr. (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Marissa, Nicole, Stephen Jr., Tommy Jr. and Samantha. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder & Scott, Inc. Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY, on Monday, August 11, 2008, from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Her funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Beaver Dams Cemetery.
