JANET ELAINE RUSSELL (NEE JENKINS) HAMMOND, IN Janet Elaine Russell (nee Jenkins), age 70 of Hammond, IN passed away July 7, 2012. She is survived by two sons: Tim of Hammond, IN and Dave (Lisa) of TX; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and one sister, Betty (Jerry) Vates. Preceded in death by her daughter, Terri-1967; son Dan-1984; and one sister, Arlene-2007. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Janet's favorite pastime was crocheting scarves for the needy and homeless. She was a longtime member of Izaac Walton, Griffith Chapter. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family. www.kuiperfh.com
