McCLELLAN,JANEE MURPHY, 95Dunnellon - The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Janee Murphy McClellan, age 95, of Dunnellon, Florida, will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Dunnellon with Rev. Russ Randall officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the time of service Sunday at the Church. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.HooperFuneralHome.com. She was born October 19, 1915 in Abbeville, AL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy. She died September 8, 2011 in Ocala. Mrs. McClellan worked in the Credit Department for Sears. She moved to Dunnellon from Miami in 1971. Mrs. McClellan was a member of First Baptist Church of Dunnellon; a graduate of Miami High School. She loved her Lord, family and country. Mrs. McClellan was preceded in death by parents, husband, William McClellan, and daughter, Gerry Marlene Hughes. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Hamilton and son-in-law Thomas of Dunnellon; 4 grandchildren: Daniel Lowry, Richard Lowry, Bethany Drum, and Rebekah Rowan and their spouses; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
