SPRINGFIELD - Jane Y. Robinson, 65, died March 18, 2011, at DHMC, after a brief illness. She was born April 9, 1945, in Bellows Falls, Vt., the daughter of Vernon and Beatrice (Guptel) Tuttle. She graduated from Alstead High School in Alstead, N.H. She graduated from hair dressing school in Manchester, N.H., and spent 45 years running her own hair salon in Springfield, Vt. She also enjoyed making and selling her crafts, traveling with her husband to many craft shows across the country. She enjoyed her life and family, especially her only granddaughter, Ella Jane Robinson. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Thomas Robinson, a son, Tom Robinson, and granddaughter, Ella Jane Robinson, all of Springfield, Vt.; her mother, Beatrice Tuttle, and a sister, Susan O'Neill, both of Bellows Falls, Vt.; a twin brother, Joseph Tuttle of Keene, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at a later date in the spring of 2011.
