Jane V. (Pelrine) Jordan, 65, a former longtime resident of Boxborough, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. Born in Providence, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Earl and Verma Irene (Bolch) Pelrine. Mrs. Jordan was employed as a bookkeeper for local businesses. She lived in Boxborough for many years, and was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational in Boxborough. Mrs. Jordan is survived by her daughter, Donna Jordan; sisters, Evelyn Peterson, Betty McLeod, Louise Santanelli, and a twin sister, June Morissette; a brother, Lawrence Pelrine; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Isabelle Josephson, Raymond and Peter Pelrine. Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Mass. Ave. (Rte. 111), Acton. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 27, at 10 a.m., at the United Church of Christ-Congregational, 723 Mass. Ave. (Rte. 111), Boxborough, with the Rev. Ute Molitor officiating.
