NurseLAKE WALES -- Mrs. Jane Robinson of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday (April 22, 2004) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 87.Born May 30, 1916, in Clarkson, Ky., she came here from Portland, Ore., 11 years ago. She was a registered nurse. She was president of the Gateway Elks Lodge 142 and president of the Women's Council of the First Christian Church of Lake Wales. She was a group leader of Christian Women's Fellowship, Portland. She attended First Christian Church of Babson Park and was a member of First Christian Church of Portland.Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelmus Bogart Robinson, III. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Othoson, Winter Haven, Betty Jane Boyce, Portland; sister, Virgie Davidson, Neosho, Mont.; brother, James Sympson, Owensboro, Ky.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
