Jane Marguerite Foster Mill´ er, 78, died Sept. 6, 2007, at the Royal Palm Convalescent Cen´ ter in Vero Beach. She was born in Orange , N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1984, coming from Short Hills, N.J. She was a graduate of Kent Place School and Centenary Junior College and worked as a nursery school teacher, most re´ cently at The Elkwood Play School in Sum´ mit, N.J., prior to retiring. She was a member of The Willing Work´ ers of New Harbor and the New Harbor United Methodist Church in New Harbor, Maine, where she served in the soup kitchen. Throughout her life, she cared for young children and for elderly widows. Survivors include her hus´ band of 54 years, David B. Mill´ er of Vero Beach; sons, Hyde F. Miller of Indialantic and D. Byron Miller of Los Altos, Calif.; and three grandchil´ dren.
