->Jane McFaddenLAGRANGE - Jane McFadden, 81, a resident of LaGrangeville since 1983 and formerly of New Rochelle, died on Monday, March 7, 2011 at her home. Born in New York City on December 4, 1929, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rachel Brown Burke. A graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the King Street Nursing Home in Port Chester. A devout Catholic, she was a parishioner of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville and a member of the Third Order of Franciscans. She had also served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center and a CCD Teacher at Holy Trinity Church. On January 7, 1950 in Manhattan, Jane married John William McFadden who predeceased her on August 18, 2008. She is survived by her children, Jane Pagnanella and her husband Stephen of Hopewell Junction, John T. McFadden and his wife Marguerite of Pleasant Valley, Mary Ellen Jamison and her husband William of Montgomery, Peter McFadden and his wife Marianne of LaGrangeville and Kathleen Shute and her husband Stephen of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Sarah, Shannon, Sara, Kaitlyn, Jacklyn, Peter, John and Emily; her great-grandchildren, Kylie, Nicolette, Gianna, Jayden and Hailey; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by her son, Steven McFadden, on May 16, 1977 and her sister, Helen Gavin. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 am at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville. Private interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
