Jane "Janie" Frances Smith Wilson Fort Pierce, Florida Jane "Janie" Frances Smith Wilson, 60, died at her home in Fort Pierce, Florida on August 27, 2005. She was born in Suffern, New York on May 11, 1945, the daughter of Eva Jane Smith and the late Edward F. Smith. She has lived in Ft. Pierce since 1967 coming from Mount Ivy, New York. "Janie" graduated from the Spring Valley High School, New York in 1964 and Indian River Community College, Florida as an assistant nurse in 1981. She worked for the Red Cross for many years. "Janie" took great joy in delighting friends and family with her home-baked breads and cookies. She will always be remembered for her gentle ways and unyielding patience. She was a devoted member of the Parkview Baptist Church, Ft. Pierce. "Janie" was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2002. She died peacefully at her home with family and friends at her side. "Janie" is survived by her mother, Eva Jane Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Dr. Carol A. Fabrey and her husband Dr. Robert H. Fabrey II of Asheville, NC and sister Debra M. D'Acquisto and husband Dr. Leo J. D'Acquisto of Ellensburg, WA ; several nieces and nephews include: Nicole Fabrey, Christina Fabrey, Kendall Fabrey, Tate Gentile, Christopher Gentile and Leo E. D'Acquisto and a great niece, Aja Mae Ramsey. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 or to Parkview Baptist Church, 403 Hayes Rd, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950. Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
