->Waterford - Jane C. Wall, 94, formerly of 717 Vauxhall Street Extension, died Thursday at Apple Rehab-Saybrook.She was born on Oct. 30, 1915, in Groton, the daughter of John and Evelena Holloway Cavanaugh.She was the widow of Thomas J. Wall, Sr., whom she married on Nov. 30, 1940, in New London.She is survived by a daughter, Mary Stone of Niantic; a son, Thomas J. Wall Jr.; four grandchildren, Catherine Stone of Westbrook, Janet Battista of Branford, Thomas Stone of Niantic and Daniel Stone of Niantic; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished.Three brothers and a sister predeceased her, John, Daniel and George Cavanaugh, and Ruth Raynes.Jane was a communicant of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church and an enthusiastic Red Sox fan. She was devoted to her family and all those who knew her were touched by her kindness.The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London. The funeral will assemble at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Huntington Street, New London.
