Wall, 94, formerly of 717 Vauxhall St., Ext., died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Apple Rehab-Saybrook.She was born on Oct. 30, 1915, in Groton, the daughter of John and Evelena (Holloway) Cavanaugh.She was the widow of Thomas J. Wall Sr., whom she married on Nov. 30, 1940, in New London.The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. The funeral will assemble at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Huntington St., New London. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Jefferson Ave., New London.A full obituary will run in Monday's edition of The Day.
