Jane C. Johnson, 95, Sarasota, died Sept. 23, 2003, at The Pines of Sarasota. She was born May 6, 1908, in Lee County, Ga., and came to Sarasota 78 years ago from there. She was an administrative secretary for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and former secretary for Show Folks of Sarasota. She was past president of the Fine Arts Society and the Ringling Museum Members Council and was a docent at Ringling Museum. She was a Methodist. Survivors include a sister, Eleanor Stilchen of El Paso, Texas; and brothers Alva Jr. of Sarasota and William D. of Longboat Key. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, with a service to follow, at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel, Bradenton. Entombment will be in Manasota Memorial Park.
