JAMES W. WRIGHT VALPARAISO, IN James W. Wright, passed away at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, IN, on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the age of 72. Born in Alloa Scotland on August 20, 2008 to the late William and Jessie (nee Worden) Wright. Resident of Valparaiso for 18 years, formerly of Merrillville, IN. James worked as an electrical engineer for NIPSCO retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, National Guard, Duneland Wood Carver's Club, Forest park Senior Men's Golf League, St. Paul's Men's Club and Knights of Columbus #738 of Valparaiso. Survived by wife, Janice M. (Nee Dilling) Wright of Valparaiso, IN; children: Carol (John) Kalita of Chesterton, IN, William (Kathleen) Wright of Chandler, AZ, Jeffrey Wright of Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren: Kristin, Josh and Lauren Kalita, Kyle and Collin Wright; brother Arthur (Sandi) Wright of Crown Point, IN. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Dykes Funeral Home, 2305 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso, IN to St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso, IN for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass with Rev. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Interment Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. Friends may call Monday, September 15, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. with a 7pm Wake Service at Dykes Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities or VNA Hospice.
