<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Shorter - Funeral services for James Wesley "Pete" Cook, 78, will be Wednesday, October 30 at 3:00 PM at Landmark Church of Christ in Montgomery, AL, with Buddy Bell and Edwin Carpenter officiating. Mr. Cook passed peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday, October 26th, 2013. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Landmark Church of Christ. Survivors include his beloved wife, Pat Cook of 56 years. Children, Donna Frazier (Spouse John) of Birmingham, AL, Wes Cook (Spouse Elizabeth) of Shorter, AL, and Lisa Davis (Spouse Dale) of Birmingham, AL. Nine grandchildren, Josh (Spouse Mallory), Haley, Amber, Ryan (Spouse Cassie), Kendall, Mackenzie, Bailey, Yates and Will. Three great grandchildren, Hayden, Natalie and Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Cook was inducted into Calhoun County Sports Hall of Fame on June 19, 2010 and retired from TCI after 50 years of service. Mr. Cook was a member of Arrowhead Country Club where he enjoyed his favorite past time, golfing with his buddies. Mr. Cook was a longtime member of Landmark Church of Christ.
