Memorial services for James Ray Lowe, 66, of DeLand, who passed away on January 31, 2009 at Crawford Long Hospital, in Atlanta, GA will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Lankford Funeral Home, with Pastor Slade Rickles officiating. Mr. Lowe was born in Charleston, S.C. He worked in Direct Sales. He was a member of the DeLand Elks Lodge #1463 and the FOE Eagles #4414. He is survived by his fiancee', Linda Hodges, of DeLand; four sons, Thomas Lowe, of DeLand, Jimbo Lowe, of South Carolina, Jeff Swartz and Steve Swartz, both of Paisley, FL; one daughter, Donna Lowe, of Tennessee; two brothers, Dick Lowe, of Florida and Bob Lowe, of Colorado; and six grandchildren, Brandon Lowe, Mackenzie Basso, T.J. Lowe, Lexi Lowe, Vandi Swartz and Jessa Swartz. Lankford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
