James Ralph Todd December 12, 1940-May 23, 2014 Aynor James Ralph Todd, age 73, of the Horry section of Horry County passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Mr. Todd was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late James Walton and Lunette Myrtle Johnson Todd. Mr. Todd was a member of Bakers Chapel Baptist Church. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Waccamaw Lumber, Pelican Building Supply, and Shirley's Jewelers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Todd Holmes. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Alford Todd of Aynor; daughter, Samantha Todd Hooks of Aynor; two grandchildren, Hillary Hooks and Bradley Hooks, both of Aynor; four siblings, Ford Todd and wife Sandra of Aynor, Phillip Todd and his wife Barbara of Aynor, Shirley Ann Rabon of Nichols, Randy Todd and his wife Gail of Aynor; his brother-in-law, W.L. Holmes, Jr. of Longs; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Bakers Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Todd and Rev. Wayne Revisky officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
