James Preston Heath, 63, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, in Port St. Joe, Fla.He was born May 31, 1947, to the late Preston and Effie B. Heath in Panama City. He worked for St. Joe Paper Co. for 31 years as a boiler maker and loved to hunt and fish in the area that he lived for most of his life.Mr. Heath was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 13 years, Patricia Snapp Heath. He is survived by two sons, Jesse Denham and wife, Connie, of Callaway, Fla., and C.J. Heath of Panama City; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Lonnie Heath of Panama City and Wayne Heath and wife, Brenda, of Panama City.Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Greenwood Cemetery with Chaplain Virgil Tillman officiating.
