James Norman Davis, 78, of Orange, N.J., died on Sept. 15, 2011. The funeral service is Thursday at 10 a.m. at Christ Church, Church Street and Trinity Place, Montclair, N.J. Interment is at William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J. Visitation is on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cotton Funeral Service, 130 Main St., Orange, and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. James was the beloved brother of Bernice Green, Alease Walton, and Barbara Peoples. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
