<!-- James Nelson HORTON--> HORTON, James Nelson Age 66 of Ashland City. Died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN of an extended illness. Mr. Horton was born November 14, 1942 in Nashville, TN. He graduated Castle Heights Military Academy, Lebanon, TN and attended the University of Tennessee Extension Business School in Nashville, TN. A mechanic by trade, he enjoyed many years working with the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by sons, Adam Troy Horton of Ashland City, TN, Mark Wayne (Lisa) Horton of Mt. Juliet, TN and Alan Wade (Marilyn) Horton of Ashland City, TN; grandchildren, Channing Horton and Johnathan Toombs; brother, Pickle Horton of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Edward and Thelma Dollarhide Horton; his sister, Carolyn Horton Morris. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 4 til 8 p.m. and on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 12 noon til 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Brown officiating. Interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City.
