January 22, 2010, beloved husband of "Kappy" (nee Niemiec) Peters; dearest father of Brett Peters of Montreal, Canada, Alison Brennan of Hendersonville, NC, Kirk Peters of Colorado Springs, CO, Kristen (Matt) Stocking of Holly Springs, NC and Karl Peters of London, England; cherished grandfather of Patrick and Haley Brennan, Elliotte and Sydney Stocking; dear brother of the late Richard (Jean) and William Peters; also survived by his mother-in-law Adeline Niemiec, his sister-in-law Susie (Scott) Hepburn, his special friends Maggie and Igby, and many nieces and nephews. The family will be present Thursday from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner Hopkins Rd.) where a Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11 AM.
