James Morrison, 82, Bradenton, died Feb. 21, 2003. He was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Ocala and came to Bradenton in 1939 from there. He was salesman and manager for the Orange State Motor Co. in truck and trailer sales. He was a member of Odd Fellows and a past Grand Patriarch and former member of the Rebekahs. He was a member of West Bradenton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; a daughter, Kathryn Goethe of Palmetto; sons James D. of Myakka City and John M. of Palmetto; a brother, M.J. of Orlando; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel, with a service to follow. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton.
