SMITH - James Michael, a lifetime resident of Cresskill, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 from congestive heart failure. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife, Viola, of 53 years, his seven children, Mary Ann, James, Robert, Barbara, Karen, Linda, and Jeffrey and sixteen grandchildren. Many people will remember Jim from his bartender days at the Antler's years ago. Jim retired from Orange and Rockland Utilities, as a supervisor, in 1990, after 40 years of service, and enjoyed many years of retirement traveling with his wife, spending time with his adoring grandchildren and sharing his bright smile and quick wit with everyone. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10 AM at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill, NJ.
