->James M. WilliamsPoughkeepsie - James M. Williams, 60, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on July 10, 2012. Born on January 22, 1952 in Jamaica Queens, NY, he was the son of the late James Williams and Elizabeth Glenn. He was a graduate of Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. James served 4yrs in the US Army and 3yrs in the Reserves. He then left NJ to live in Austin, TX and after spending 20 yrs decided to move back up north to NY. James loved watching game shows and playing chess. He was a funny guy to be around - there was always laughter which is always good for the soul. He leaves behind to mourn his four siblings; 3 sisters, Marcia Williams of the Bronx, NY, Linda Williams of Albany, NY, Rita Payton, of Poughkeepsie, NY (of whom he lived with and was his caregiver up until his demise); his brother, Russell Williams, and his wife, Brenda, of Delray, FL. , many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will truly miss him. He is predeceased by his brothers, Wayne Williams, Gary Williams, his foster brother, Kevin Morten, and his sister, Yvette Williams. His family would like to thank all of his friends who stood by him at the time of his demise. Visitation will be from 10-11am Tuesday, July 17, 2012 with 11am funeral services at the Joseph J.
