The Rev. James Albert Lee, 73, of 600 Hunts Bridge Road, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. The Rev. Lee was born in Greenville, and was a son of the late Rev. Albert Lee and Madie Sayers Lee. He was the Senior Adult minister of Morgan Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Ruby Allen Lee, of the home, survivors include a daughter, Diane Heaton, and her husband, Coy (Corky), of Greenville; a sister, Peggy Kilgore, of Milton, Fla.; a grandson, James (Artie) Heaton, of Greenville; and three great-grandchildren, Rachel Heaton, Savannah Heaton and James P. Heaton, all of Greenville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Rev. Lee was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Bishop; and a brother, Edward Lee. The visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family is at 100 Horseback Way, Travelers Rest.
