James Jim Gordon Ault, 75 HERMON -- James Gordon Ault, 75, died Oct. 17, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Lewiston the son of Charles and Ruth (Dobson) Ault. James served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War Conflict. He then graduated from the University of Maine with a B. S. in Civil Engineering. James loved children and had a sense of ridiculous in a kid type fashion and would often be found playing with his grandchildren and other kids. He enjoyed his active community service as a Boy Scout Leader and serving on the Hermon Planning Board. James was a member of the Hermon Baptist Church and the Society of Civil Engineers. He could be found outdoors and was very dedicated to his homestead property. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna (Snow) Ault; children, Deborah Pecoraro and husband Frank of Stockton, Calif., Lawrence Ault and wife Jennifer of Brewer, Timothy Ault and wife Jennifer of Windsor Locks, Conn.; brothers, John Ault and wife Elaine, Richard Ault and wife Eleanor, Peter Ault and Eloise, David Ault and wife Noreen; sisters, Jane Lindholm and husband Milton, Ruth Ault, Sara Fasciano; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Daniel Ault, Michael and Jessica Pecoraro; a great-grandchild, Gabriella Picoraro; and many nieces and nephews. He was very much loved by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and his mother in law. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister and a brother. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Hermon Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Garnett Chute, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the basement reception hall following the service.
