James Huggins White, 88, of 15 Leone Ave., died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003. Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Margaret Godfrey White, and was a son of the late Lawrence E. and Martha Griffith White. Mr. White was the retired owner of J.H. White Auto Service and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Deborah R. Cromer of Easley and Kim B. Anderson of Greenville; sisters, Helen Brink of Williams Port, Pa., and Hazel West of Charleston; a brother, Henry White, of Greenville; grandchildren, Tonya, Sonya, Reagan and Kendall; a great-grandchild, Kelsey; and a special member of the family, David Lackey. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. Family members are at the residence.
