POWELL, JAMES HOWARD, age 56, of Alabaster, died Monday, May 15th, 2006. He was a partner in the accounting firm of Parks Powell & Associates in Hoover. Mr. Powell was a former U.S. Marine and a veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Martha Parks Powell; brothers Ray Powell of Homewood and William Powell of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Powell's body was donated to anatomical research at UAB. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Aldridge Gardens Pavilion at 3:00 p.m. The Service will include a U.S. Marine Flag Ceremony.
