James Perry, 75, died April 15, 2008, at his home. He was born in Taunton, Mass., and moved to Vero Beach three years ago from Indiantown. He served in the Coast Guard for 22 years as a chief warrant officer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in West Palm Beach. Survivors include son, James Perry of Savannah, Ga.; daughters, Christine Dean of Vero Beach and Jo-Ellyn Robison of Oklahoma City; and seven grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. April 18 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, followed by a service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3918 in Vero Beach.
