Funeral services for James Heartwood Vick, 75, will be Saturday, March 10 at 11 am at Curtis & Son North Chapel with the Rev. David Turner officiating and burial in Bluff Springs Cemetery, Mr. Vick died March 7, 2012. He is preceded in death by father, mother, brother and 2 sisters. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and attended Bluff Springs Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and his family. He retired from Kimberly Clark after 30 years. He is survived by wife of 51 years, Mona Sue Vick, of Sylacauga; Son, James Scott Vick of Sylacauga; Daughter, Gloria Susan Pert (Wayne) of Perry, FL; 2 Sisters, Nellie Mildred Barnett, of Childersburg; Martha Faye Parker, of Childersburg; 3 Grandchildren, Adam, Mark, Kelly Green of Perry, FL. Visitation will be Friday, March 9 from 5-8 pm at Curtis & Son North Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of Coosa Valley Medical Center for all their love and care.
