JAMES ELMER DAVIS FULTON, MO James Elmer Davis, 73, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at his home in Fulton. He was born August 23, 1937 in Oglesby, IL. The son of the late Elmer Eade and adopted father, Myron Davis and mother, Ruth Williams Davis. James will be sadly missed by five sons: Marc (Lori) Davis, James R. Davis, John W. Davis and Samuel M. Davis all of Fulton and Nathaniel S. Davis of Hatton; one daughter, Rachael J. Rowden of Millersburg; nine grandchildren: SaRanda Davis, Preston Scott Davis, Elliana Rowden, Naomi Davis, Rebekah Davis, Logan Davis, Gracie Davis, Peyton Davis and Trenton Davis; two brothers: Myron (Connie) Davis of Wheatfield, IN and Paul Davis of Tarpon Springs, FL; two sisters: Carol (Robert) MacDonald of Highland, IN and Janice Lawrence of Tarpon Springs, FL. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, James Lee Davis. James was a member of Iron Workers Local 395. He enjoyed serving God and taking care of his children and foster children. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 7, 2011 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bill Newton officiating. Entombment will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
