Funeral services for James Edward Williams, 55, of Libby Ct., Daytona Beach, who passed away on April 14, 2009, will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Hope Fellowship Church. Calling hours will be 5-9 p.m. on April 24, 2009 (today) at R.J. Gainous Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born in Fulton, NY and moved to this area in 1981 from Sanford. Mr. Williams was the Pastor of the Great Deliverance Pentecostal Church of God, in DeLand for 11 years. Survivors include his wife, Deloris Williams, of Daytona Beach; two sons, James Williams, Jr., of Sanford and James V. Williams, of Gainesville; two daughters, Cassandra Knight, of Rochester, NY and Lashonda Williams, of Lakeland; two step-sons, Sammie Bizzell and Bobby Johnson, both of Daytona Beach; one step-daughter, Amanda Johnson, of Daytona Beach; two brothers, Joseph Williams and Ezekiel Williams, both of Sanford; eight sisters, Marie Reed, of Palmetto, FL, Sue Rogers, of Lake City, FL, Shirley Williams, Wilma Hamilton, Lillian Williams, Ann Williams, Mary Branchlor, and Glenda Aladdin, all of Sanford.
