James Edward Lee, 78, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at Hurstbourne Healthcare Center. He was a retired employee of General Electric, a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180, and First Baptist Church, Shepherdsville. He is survived by a son, Jimmy Lee and his wife, Wanda; a daughter, Janice McDaniel and her husband, Fred; a brother, Headie Lee Jr. and his wife, Wilma; a sister, Sandra Sue Hack and her husband, Marvin, of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Shaun McDaniel, Maria Bradley, and Brian Lee, and one great-grandchild, Logan McDaniel; and his former wife, Dorothy Lee. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that all contributions be made to Kosair Charities.
