James Edward Grimes, 68, Brownstown, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. He was born Dec. 7, 1941, in Hazard, Ky. He served in the U.S. Army as a pilot. Survivors include his wife, Janice Marlane Dean Hook Grimes. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Dean Combs officiating. There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene in Brownstown with the Rev. Ben Durr officiating. Friends may call at the church from 2:30 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family through the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon to help with funeral expenses.
