JAMES EDWARD CLOUTIER James Edward Cloutier 66, passed away April 12, 2007 in Gainesville, FL. after a brief illness. He moved to Vero Beach in 2004 with his wife Pat after living in N.H. for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Patricia (Fenton) Cloutier, daughter Cara Collins of Cumberland- Foreside, ME., four sons, Brian Cloutier of Manchester, NH., Michael and Christopher Cloutier of Bedford, NH., and Jonathan Cloutier of Kittery, ME, seven granddaughters and his mother Helen Cloutier of Westfield, MA. James attended high school in Westfield, MA, graduating in 1958. In 1970 he graduated from Monmouth College. He was a life long employee of the telephone Company. In the early 1960's while working for AT&T he was part of a group who invented the pager where it was displayed at the Worlds Fair in Seattle. In the 1970's he was part of a group who designed the 911 system for New England. James spend many years coaching Little League and youth Hockey serving on the board of directors for both. He enjoyed camping, wood working, golf and vacationing in St. Maarten. He will be missed by his family and friends in NH, Vero and St. Maarten. A Memorial Mass for friends and family will be said at Holy Cross Church, 100 Iris Lane, Vero Beach on Friday April 27, 2007 at 10:00AM. A reception will follow at Bogie's at Vista Meadows Golf Course.
