East Lyme - James Edward Casey, 49, of 12 Champlin Hill Court, Niantic, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at his home.Jimmy was born on July 8, 1962, in Springfield, Mass.He was predeceased by both of his parents, William Joseph Casey and Lorraine (Korecki) Casey.A 1980 graduate of East Lyme High School, Jimmy attended AIC in Springfield, and the University of Connecticut in Storrs. He was employed for many years as a clothing salesman at Benoit's Clothing Store. Most recently, he had been employed at both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in the food services departments.He is survived by his sister, Joan Marie Casey, also of Niantic.The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, at the Thomas L.
